Esta versi\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad del B\u00edo-B\u00edo, en Concepci\u00f3n, entre el 22 y el 26 de mayo de 2018.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">El proyecto se configura a partir de una cercha inicial de doble punta, utilizada como unidad geom\u00e9trica para desarrollar una secuencia de nueve m\u00f3dulos. Cada m\u00f3dulo modifica progresivamente el n\u00famero, la longitud y la orientaci\u00f3n de sus elementos, produciendo una estructura continua cuya configuraci\u00f3n se expande desde una misma regla de organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">El sistema se basa en un conjunto finito de listones de madera y operaciones constructivas simples. Todas las piezas se resuelven mediante cortes a 90 grados, mientras que la variaci\u00f3n de sus longitudes y \u00e1ngulos de ensamblaje permite explorar diferentes configuraciones espaciales y estructurales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">El modelo computacional permiti\u00f3 controlar las relaciones entre los elementos, evaluar sus posibilidades combinatorias y organizar la informaci\u00f3n necesaria para la fabricaci\u00f3n. El dise\u00f1o busc\u00f3 ampliar la superficie cubierta utilizando una cantidad acotada de piezas, relacionando econom\u00eda material, repetici\u00f3n y diferenciaci\u00f3n geom\u00e9trica.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">El workshop articul\u00f3 conocimientos asociados a la construcci\u00f3n convencional en madera con herramientas de dise\u00f1o param\u00e9trico. El proceso no se concentr\u00f3 \u00fanicamente en la definici\u00f3n formal de la estructura, sino tambi\u00e9n en la sistematizaci\u00f3n de sus etapas de corte, perforaci\u00f3n, identificaci\u00f3n, agrupaci\u00f3n y montaje.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">La estrategia de fabricaci\u00f3n respondi\u00f3 adem\u00e1s a las condiciones log\u00edsticas del proyecto. Las fijaciones de acero fueron prefabricadas en el Laboratorio de Materiales del Departamento de Arquitectura de la Universidad T\u00e9cnica Federico Santa Mar\u00eda, mientras que el corte y perforado de las piezas de madera se realiz\u00f3 en los talleres de Vez Dise\u00f1o, en el Centro de Creaci\u00f3n de Concepci\u00f3n C3.<\/p>\n<p>La fabricaci\u00f3n y el montaje fueron desarrollados junto con profesionales y estudiantes de Concepci\u00f3n. This edition took place at the School of Architecture of the Universidad del B\u00edo-B\u00edo in Concepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"609\" data-end=\"938\">The project is generated from a double-point truss used as the initial geometric unit for a sequence of nine discrete modules. Each module progressively modifies the number, length, and orientation of its members, producing a continuous structure that evolves through the repetition and variation of a single organizational rule.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"1295\">The system is based on a finite set of timber elements and simple construction operations. All members are cut at 90 degrees, while variations in length and connection angles generate different spatial and structural configurations. This approach investigates the combinatorial potential of standardized components rather than relying on bespoke elements.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1663\">The computational model controls the relationships between the members, evaluates their combinatorial possibilities, and organizes the information required for fabrication. The design explores how a limited number of timber elements can generate the largest possible spatial span through systematic variation, balancing material efficiency with geometric complexity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1996\">The workshop combined conventional timber construction techniques with computational design methodologies. Rather than focusing exclusively on form generation, the process integrated fabrication constraints from the outset, systematizing cutting, drilling, labeling, grouping, and assembly as part of a continuous digital workflow.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1998\" data-end=\"2336\">Fabrication strategies were also informed by the project&#8217;s logistical constraints.
